Rich Scott

PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Rich is a 23-year Veteran of the Army, a graduate of the University of Washington (B.A.) and of the Naval Postgraduate School (M.A.). With a background in planning, he was selected to lead the reconciliation efforts for the reconstruction of Iraq in 2007-2008. He went on to serve as a Planner for the Royal Netherlands Air Force and for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Rich’s experiences include service as a defense contractor, project manager, and non-profit executive director. Just a few years ago, Rich and his family experienced first-hand the transforming effects of the Rise Recovery programs. Now, as the Program Director for Rise Recovery,  he has the opportunity to bring others the same life-changing services that saved his family. Rich enjoys serving his community, spending time with his family and friends, and bicycling whenever he gets the chance.
