Joyce Fielder is a 5th generation San Antonian and was born in the same building as our Administrative offices downtown in the old Baptist building. Joyce brings over 30 years’ experience as Accountant and Financial Analyst, most of which were in various roles in large hospital systems. Joyce left the corporate world of finance in 2010 to work in the nonprofit sector. Her passion is living life for Jesus while helping serve others in recovery; when Joyce saw the opportunity to join the Rise Recovery family, she said it felt like a Divine appointment and jumped at it!
She and her husband, Gerald, have a blended family of six children and six grandchildren along with her lab Emma and Ridgeback, Griffen. She loves to spend free time with her family as well as volunteering and helping other women struggling with addiction. Joyce also stays busy in her leadership role at church and singing in the band with Celebrate Recovery.
