Leslie is a mental health advocate, artist, and student. She has her AA in Psychology and will be completing her BA in Psychology in May 2024. Her goal in her work is to use her personal journey with mental health to encourage self-awareness, self-discipline, and empowerment in others. As a Youth Peer Specialist, she aims to create a safe space where young individuals receive the support and guidance they need in their journey of recovery. In her free time, Leslie enjoys practicing self-expression through various arts and crafts; fiber arts, drawing and dancing. She also enjoys caring for her plants, fishing, and playing with her dog.
