LCSW, CDWF, Trauma, Grief, and Expressive Arts Therapy
Michelli Ramon is a clinical social worker and nationally recognized educator on adolescent mental health matters, including addiction, trauma, and grief. She has trained with experts in the fields of expressive art therapy, shame resilience, and trauma and is co-creator of an innovative trauma therapy called Somatic ReStorying. Michelli is a graduate of Texas’ oldest school of social work, The Worden School of Social Service and is a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator. Her work has been featured on a variety of television and radio programs. In 2010 she was featured as an expert panelist on A&E’s Emmy Award-winning program, “Intervention.” As a person in long-term recovery through Al-Anon, Michelli has firsthand knowledge of the heartbreak and shame associated with addiction. She is a fierce advocate for empathy and unconditional love as the bedrocks of the recovery movement.
