Rise Recovery Among Bexar County Nonprofits Advocating for Teen Opioid Funding

We’re grateful to be featured in a recent KSAT report on efforts by local nonprofits working to secure opioid settlement funding for teen addiction programs.

The article shares how Rise Recovery, along with other community groups, is “anxiously awaiting release of opioid funding” to support and expand our recovery high school and youth services.

"With the opioid funding, we would be able to sustain our recovery high school for longer. We would be able to expand our youth programming across more… public school ISDs.”

“Bexar County nonprofit anxiously awaits release of opioid funding for teen programs,” by Patty Santos, KSAT — February 20, 2024.
