Step 1:

Complete CORE Training

Core Training is the prerequisite for all Peer Support trainings.

It provides a strong foundation in the principles and impact of peer support, helping you explore the available certification pathways so you can choose the one that best aligns with your lived experience.

Step 2:

Apply for MHPS or RSPS Training

Meet eligibility requirements and enroll in the 40-hour specialized training.

This course builds on the core principles of peer support by providing the role-specific knowledge, skills, and best practices needed to prepare for certification and success in the field.

Step 3:

Launch Your Career

Submit your certification application through TCBAP - Certemy.

Once certified, you'll be qualified to provide recovery support services in a variety of settings, including behavioral health organizations, treatment programs, schools, hospitals, and community agencies.
